Connect your 4BT Cummins directly to your Jeep stick transmission. This adapter fits 4.0L INLINE six transmissions only. Later V6 versions of the NSG370 will NOT work with this kit.
The advantage with this kit is the clutch pressure plate and hydraulics used are all stock Jeep components. This means they will actually work right and feel right. Other kits on the market need to accomplish this by mixing pressure plates and slave cylinders resulting in poor or improper clutch disengagement.
NOTE: Be aware with using this kit you MUST test fit your bellhousing and you may need to grind minor reliefs for the starter pinion gear and/or the flywheel ring gear teeth. This kit fits several different transmissions over a large span of years. there are variations in the bellhousings in this span and how much grinding is required. Normally, minimal clearancing is required.
